Psyllium Blond by ESC Laboratoire is an annual plant native to India and Iran, cultivated throughout the Mediterranean basin. Components: mucilages located in the epidermis, hydrocarbons, fatty acids, sterols, proteins, iridoides, insoluble fibers. Psyllium, the ally of good transit in horses. Psyllium is a plant rich in mucilage which forms a lubricating gel in the intestine. Mucilage is a plant substance that swells on contact with water, producing a viscous liquid that improves and accelerates transit. Psyllium is recommended for horses that live on sandy soil. What to combine the psyllium care product with? In case of constipation or colic, flax seeds can also be added to the ration. Flax seeds help soothe the digestive system. The presence of mucilage facilitates transit in horses prone to straw blockages. Flax seeds reinforce the digestive action of the mash.

  • Directions for use: dose to add to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg), after soaking for 1 hour in lukewarm water: 100 to 150 g per day for 7 days per month. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses and separate from taking medication. Do not hesitate to seek the advice of your veterinarian before use or extension. Usage precautions: pregnant or lactating mares: on veterinary advice only. Monitor proper drinking. Formulated for equines. Close tightly after use. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
