The Sweet Iron Weymouth Fixed Port Medium TRUST Equestrian bit is a bridle bit. The bridle bit is a bit with leverage. To pair it, you need a bridle. This bit is sold with a bracelet to prevent the bit from turning too much. The curb should fit snugly.

 

The Sweet Iron TRUST Equestrian material is made of iron and is very well known for its blue color, obtained by heating during production. When the Sweet Iron bit comes into contact with the air (moisture), it develops a rusty surface which has a sweet taste and which will naturally stimulate the horse's salivation. The horse therefore foams more, which allows it to increase the acceptance of the bit. This oxidation process changes the blue color of the TRUST Equestrian bit to silver/brown. When time does not wear the Sweet Iron bit, an orange/brown layer of rust appears. This layer can easily be removed by rubbing the bit with a damp cloth. This orange layer is not harmful. Sweet Iron bits are suitable for all horses and help horses lather more.

 

Port Medium TRUST Equestrian bits are made of elastic resin, which is harder than Flexi Soft bits. Inno Sense Port Medium bits are slightly flexible. These bits have a 'tongue arch' which puts less pressure on the center of the horse's tongue. This bit therefore allows more freedom at the level of the tongue which is ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue or sticking out their tongue.
