Indian chestnut by ESC Laboratoire is native to the Balkans and Western Asia. In herbal medicine, we will favor the use of the seed and the bark. The horse chestnut, a plant which promotes unclogging. Horse chestnut has decongestant and tonic properties and is particularly effective in cases of congestion problems in horses. Indeed, traditionally, the horse chestnut care product is known for its astringent properties, that is to say that it tightens the tissues. Horse chestnut is also useful in cases of venous insufficiency. Aescin, its main active ingredient, is the source of its properties. This compound would in fact preserve the permeability and tone of the venous wall (venotonic effect), which would prevent edema and facilitate the return of blood to the heart.

  • Directions for use: dose to add to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 10 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to seek the advice of your veterinarian before use or extension. Precautions for use: not recommended for pregnant or lactating mares or in the event of anticoagulant treatment. Seek the advice of a veterinarian in the event of EMS. Formulated for equines. Close tightly after use. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
