Ungula Naturalis foot care oil is a 100% vegetable and 100% natural liquid care ointment for the protection of horses' feet.

Use :

The liquid maintenance ointment for the foot penetrates quickly into the hoof thanks to an active ingredient of penetration. It nourishes the hoof in depth. It softens, hydrates and strengthens the horn in a very important way. Its regular use prevents the wall from drying out. Thanks to certain “precious” vegetable oils and certain essential oils present in its composition, it causes significant growth of the hoof. It leaves a protective film that results in a shiny and pretty appearance while allowing the hoof to breathe.

Using advice :

Clean the hoof with a brush
Open the pot and wipe the brush present in the cap on the rim of the pot.
Apply the liquid ointment all over the outside of the foot. A thin film is enough to maintain the horny wall.
Normal frequency of use is three to four applications per week
The operation can be daily in order to prevent cracks and brittle hooves.

Noticed :

Its composition is suitable for horses that are stationed in boxes with wood, flax or hemp shavings bedding. By daily application, it will provide sufficient hydration to the hoof.

In times of drought or if your horse's hooves require more moisture, you can either shower the feet with water in the morning and oil in the afternoon or vice versa. We advise against showering, wiping the hoof and then applying the oil. Indeed, our products do not contain water and water and oil do not mix well. If despite this treatment, the hooves still seem dry, then you can use the Ungula Naturalis shavings range which will provide you with optimal hydration.

In summer, you can also apply the foot maintenance oil care product on the frogs. Indeed, the sanitization of these being less crucial than in winter, the foot oil, by its richness and its hydration, will respond to the needs of the forks.
