Laurel Oil by ESC Laboratoire is a purifying oil that prevents the risk of hoof infection. Its properties are explained by the presence of active compounds originally present in the leaves of Laurus Nobilis (Noble laurel, Sauce laurel, Apollo laurel). Its components are cineole, linalool, alpha pinewood and beta pinewood which act together to fight against bacterial infections. The bay oil care product is made using a traditional method of maceration of bay leaves in vegetable oil. This production method by maceration guarantees a high content of plant active ingredients and the effectiveness of the product on damaged hooves. What to combine laurel oil with? In the event of a very damaged sole or fork, a treatment with cade oil can be very effective. The properties of cade oil are explained by the presence of active compounds present in the wood and roots of juniper wood, considered a medicinal plant since the 19th century in Europe. Cade oil (with antiseptic, antimicrobial, antipruritic and antiparasitic properties) is traditionally recommended for the treatment of skin problems and should not be used pure.
