Mucilages are sticky substances which swell on contact with water and which have softening and lubricating properties. Marshmallow can also be used externally to soothe irritations, insect bites or cracks. You can extract marshmallow paste (by peeling the roots), which can be used in confectionery but be careful, this has nothing to do with industrial marshmallow! What synergy with the marshmallow care product? In case of persistent cough, you can also give Equipulm syrup, a cough suppressant concentrate made from expectorant and decongestant plants.
