Equistressmix by ESC Laboratoire is a mixture of 10 plants selected for their relaxing properties on the equine body: angelica, clay, hawthorn, chamomile, chicory, escholtzia, hops, lithothamnum, lemon balm and peppermint. This formula was developed under veterinary supervision. This natural food supplement is suitable for stressed, anxious or nervous horses thanks to the soothing properties of plants with complementary virtues acting in synergy and in particular : Chamomile: matricaria, also called German chamomile, is used in cases of stress and digestive discomfort. Angelica: this plant supports the nervous system and has a soothing action on the digestive system. Escholtzia: also known as California poppy, this plant calms fears and anxiety. Stress in horses regularly results in digestive disorders, which is why the formula contains both plants with calming properties in the event of stress but also plants with a soothing action in the event of digestive disorders. What to combine the Equistressmix care product with? For a quick result before an event (competition, transport, etc.), Equistressmix can be supplemented with a syringe of Equistress Flash, a concentrate of soothing plants and enriched with tryptophan, an amino acid precursor of serotonin and which is at the origin melatonin, the sleep hormone. In the event of significant intestinal problems (softening of droppings), you can include vegetable charcoal in your horse's ration. This food resulting from the thermolysis of wood has powerful absorbent and adsorbent properties. In working horses, you can distribute Magnesium which contributes to muscle relaxation and the regulation of the nervous system.
