The waterproof neck Kentucky Horsewear Hurricane can be used in combination with the Kentucky Horsewear Hurricane waterproof rug. The neck cover exists in 0g and 150g to adapt to the needs of the horse. It detaches easily with a strong hook-and-loop closure. Thanks to the 100% waterproof and windproof exterior, the neck is sturdy and can therefore be used for horses that are on pasture all day. The neckline has the same PU coating as the weather cover, so that the horse has maximum protection against rain and wind. As the coating is applied on the outside, the neck of this Kentucky Horsewear rug remains fully waterproof and requires no special treatment. The coating also prevents the fabric from tearing. The inside of the neck is lined with artificial rabbit skin, to protect the horse's hair. Artificial rabbit skin provides extra warmth and is soft to the touch. This makes the neck cover perfect for horses with sensitive skin. The neck is equipped with four strong hook-and-loop closures. These closures are inside the neck, so there is no gap between the blanket and the neck so that water does not get inside. To close the neck in the front there are two strong hook-and-loop closures which have artificial leather patches for a classic look. When the neck is muddy, just clean it with a water jet. For deep cleaning, it is possible to wash at 30 degrees. The neck cover does not need special waterproof treatment because washing does not damage the waterproof coating. It is recommended allow the neck cover to air dry.

Artificial Rabbit Skin
Kentucky Horsewear uses artificial rabbit skin for some products to provide a super soft feel and avoid chafing or hair clinging to the fabric.

The larger the filling, the more heat it will retain in contact with the horse.
Machine wash
Most Kentucky Products Horsewear are machine washable at 30 degrees. Washing as infrequently as possible is still recommended in order to maintain quality over the long term. It is also advisable to use professional machines (larger capacity) in order to limit the damage caused by the drum of the washing machine. To dry the product, simply put it in the open air on a sunny day. The dryer is not recommended.
