The 4S First Lady TLS Black Shiny GPA helmet is created to provide optimal safety. It is designed from 4 layers which allow successive shock absorption as well as better resistance to lateral compression.

 

The breakdown of the 4S:

1S: external shell intended to absorb a first part of the shocks. It is made of absorbent polymer and designed to deform under impact.
2S: during an impact, this interface, designed in an elastomer developed for Formula 1, will take up the energy of the impact to absorb it
3S: this is the main shell, reinforced with fiberglass, it provides rigidity and protection. The shock is already absorbed when it is reflected at this level
4S: the EPS shell has just finished decelerating the shock by crushing under the pressure of the impact, thus protecting the cranial box and minimizing the risk of cephalic lesions
 

Outer shell: injection molded in thermo-composite resin which limits the risk of perforation. Thanks to its front openings and rear extractors, this GPA helmet offers optimal ventilation.

 

Inner shell: EPS shock-absorbing element in variable-density expanded polystyrene that dampens and distributes shock waves.

 

Foam: comfort foam coupled with soft, antibacterial fabric. Made of a single piece, it is interchangeable and washable thanks to tabs that fit between the two caps.

 

Visor: made of thermo-composite elastomer resin which gives it a certain flexibility according to the required standards.
