The AKA Stübben Tabac  bridle is deliberately simple to allow young horses to play with the bit in their mouth while learning how riding aids work. At first, the horse can therefore open its mouth and pass its tongue above and below the bit. This helps prevent unwanted behaviors later, such as tongues hanging out or sticking over the bit, by providing the horse with positive learning experiences. The chin strap keeps the bit in place during long rein work, as well as during mounted work. This Stübben bridle is also suitable for daily long-rein work on sport horses.
