Properties of its components:
As a first action, the beeswax it contains is known for ses film-forming properties et repairers for the horn.

Beeswax is a fairly rare product : for information, the  Bees  must produce between 2 and 7.5 kg of honey to obtain in parallel 300g of cire. The latter is harvested at the end of the season and is obtained without solvent, by centrifugation and separation of the honey by boiling water.
