Ungula Naturalis fork balm is a fork repair balm. It nourishes it, waterproofs it, sanitizes it and regenerates it.

Use :

As a curative, it helps repair damaged frogs (rotten frogs, soft and painful gaps) by nourishing and replenishing them.
As a preventive measure, it keeps frogs healthy by nourishing and waterproofing them.

Using advice :

Keep the balm at a temperature between 15 and 20°C to facilitate application.
As a cure: Put on a vinyl glove to protect the hand and take a dab of balm with your fingers, push it into the middle gaps of the hoof, pressing down firmly. You can also make a brush application on the rest of the damaged fork. Repeat the operation daily until the frog is completely repaired and should be closed, supple and healthy again.
As a preventive: Apply with a brush twice a week on the frogs. If the horses evolve in a very humid ground, the application can be every other day.
 
Noticed :

After two or three days of application, the damaged fork may again give off a foul odor. Indeed, the humidity present in the fork comes out of it. It is necessary to continue treatment.
Damaged fork problems are often due to present and latent moisture entering the fork and degrading it. In order to optimize its healing, i| must ensure that the equine evolves in a dry and clean environment.
For more efficiency, after applying the balm in the gaps when they are deeply dug, we advise you to put a cotton compress or a cloth to isolate them.
The main role of the balm is the treatment of the frog but it can also be used on the entire horny wall in order to harden it or only the last centimeter at the bottom, near the iron, in order to waterproof the nail holes.
The balm can be used in addition to the shavings or endurance range when the humidity present leads to degeneration of the frog.
